Starter & Raid Information
STARTER'S Starters have priority in gear. When someone is a starter, it is that CHARACTER that is a starter, and not the player. Starter gear priority does not carry over to alts. If a starter does not post that they will be absent or late for a raid, there will be a 20 DKP penalty applied to their DKP, meaning we are essentially taking away an epic. If you are absent, even with a post, there will be a "strike" put against you. In a three month period of time, if you earn 3 strikes, you will be removed from your starter position with a chance to show and earn it back at a later date. If you earn strikes against you, you will have the opportunity have a strike cleared for each successive week of attendance without a strike. Raids We raid a total of 4 nights per week, two nights are dedicated to our 10 man groups with Saturdays and Sundays reserved for 25 man raids. Below under the section labeled "Starters" we have explained the benefits of becoming one of our core 25 man raiders and what it means exactly. Raid times are as follows(all times are server time) - Wednesday – Group 1 - 4:30pm, Group 2 - 6pm , Group 3 - 10:30pm Friday – Group 1 - 4:30pm, Group 2 - 6pm, Group 3 - 10:30pm Saturday – 25 man raid starts at 5pm Server Sunday – 25 man raid starts at 5pm Server Please note – Raid invites starts 15 to 30 minutes prior to raid start and last for approximately 3 to 4 hours most nights. ALL RAIDS ARE NO PUG WITH THE EXCEPTION OF 10 MAN AND 25 MAN VAULT IF YOU ARE CAUGHT PUGGING A RAID, YOU WILL BE GIVEN THE CHANCE TO LEAVE THE GROUP IMMEDIATELY OR BE KICKED FROM THE GUILD. Raid Attendance Each member has to be assigned to a raid group for 10 man raids. To receive an assignment for a group, you need to post in the "I WANT TO RAID" thread. Your placement will then be made during our next officer meeting. Please list what group raid time would be best for you. Those who are not assigned to a group are considered free agents. Free agents still cannot pug, but they are able to fill the spots for any of the groups that need positions filled. Remember if you've already filled a spot for one group during the week, you cannot fill a spot for another group on the same character. If you are assigned to a group or considered one of our starter raiders, and you cannot make it to a raid, you are required to post in the Absentee forum so your fellow group and guild members know you won't be there. Loot System Darkfriends uses a DKP system with values assigned to different types of gear. When you are on time for a raid, you earn 1 DKP, for each boss downing, you earn 4 DKP. If its the first time we have downed a boss as a guild, you earn 20 DKP. If you were a part of the raid group at the begining and there until the end of the raid, then you earn an additional "longevity" point. When loot drops, different types of loot are worth different amounts. Regular drops are worth 20 points, Tier gear is worth 25 points and Specialty items such as mounts, head of Onyxia etc are worth 80 points. When items drop, the loot priority is as follows- Main Tanks->Main Healers->Starters->Other Raid Members Patterns are first looted to the profession leads then in following raids are rolled on. Some items are randomed off such as bags, etc. Main Tanks and Main Heals Our guild main tanks are: Powerfuloz and Razlaghul Our guild main healers are: Nora, Callinferal, Pennery and Disciple These members of the guild have priority in gear, main tanks getting it first and then main healers.
